- Prospect Research & Grant Management Specialist
Description

Manage post-award grant activity for awards including tracking, reporting, and ensuring proper fund distribution
Partner closely with finance and clinical teams to monitor grant spending and maintain compliance with funder requirements
Work within a large-scale accounting system (Infor) to support accurate financial tracking and reconciliation
Contribute to pre-award efforts, including budgeting support and ensuring financial readiness for submissions
Conduct strategic prospect research by analyzing funder priorities and aligning them with Novant Health initiatives
Translate trends in healthcare and philanthropy into actionable insights for the grants team
Maintain a strong pipeline of research activity while balancing ongoing grant administration responsibilities
Collaborate regularly with Foundation team members and system-wide partners to support growth in grant revenue and impact
Requirements
Education: High School or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Degrees that enhance writing and/or mathematical skills will be acceptable.
Experience: 3 Years, required. Experience with post-award grant management, identifying and researching grant funder prospects, and preparing grant funder profiles. Experience with GAAP accounting, including journal entries, financial reporting and/or financial statements.
